The Employee Wellness Program will host an interactive workshop, “Breath, Relax, Renew,” to teach meditation and breathing techniques. Such techniques are designed to help users manage stress and relax the body and mind.
During the event, participants will briefly learn the physiology of the stress and relaxation responses and the definition of meditation, but most of the time will be devoted to the practice of relaxation and stress management techniques that can be easily integrated into daily activities.
The session will be held in the law school, room 157, Aug. 14 from noon to 1 p.m.
