LGBT Center to host talk on dynamics, subcultures affecting black gay men

As a part of the “In(Queer)ies: Special Topics in LGBTQ Life” series, Shavar Johnson (SAS ’12) will lead a talk titled “Trades & Femmes: The Dynamics and Sub-Cultures Impacting Black Gay Men.”

Johnson is a licensed social worker specializing in HIV healthcare, youth and LGBT issues.

The talk will take place Thursday, Jan. 31, from noon to 1 p.m. in Thwing Center Meeting Room A. Dessert and coffee will be provided. RSVP to lgbt@case.edu.
