Two faculty members to discuss music, art and Rembrandt during May 9 event

Two Case Western Reserve University faculty members will discuss the music and art surrounding the life of Rembrandt van Rijn during an upcoming event. Associate professor of musicology Peter Bennett and adjunct art history and art faculty member Jon Seydl will present “Rembrandt in America—Music and Conversation with Peter Bennett, Keyboards, and Jon Seydl, Curator” May 9, 7:30 p.m., in the Cleveland Museum of Art Recital Hall.

As a companion program to the Rembrandt in America exhibit (on display until May 28) Seydl, the CMA curator, will sit down with Bennett, a keyboard specialist, to discuss music and art.

The public event is free, but limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Find more information.
